New Research Grant Opportunity
Apply for the Summer SPSP Small Grant
Don’t miss out on SPSP’s new Small Grant Program, which provides funding for SPSP members who work at institutions that do not provide financial support for research. These grants support relatively inexpensive, well-powered studies that, if successful, will be submitted for publication and for presentation at the SPSP convention.
Learn more about the program and application process.

High Standards Produce Mixed Effects on Marriages
There is a tension between what spouses demand from their marriages and what they are capable of attaining from those marriages. High standards improve satisfaction only in strong marriages, while high standards further erode the relationship in less strong marriages.
Belief in God Strengthened by Imagining How Life Would be Different
New research shows a person’s belief in God is strengthened when thinking of “what might have been” especially in reflecting on a major life event that could have turned out poorly.
Is Your March Madness Bracket Really Better Than Mine?
Participating in a March Madness bracket office pool this year? Don’t rely too much on experts’ picks or overestimate your chance of winning.
